Year 4 - Year 6

Our priorities for students in Years 4 to 6 encompass preparation for High School – academically, emotionally and socially. During this stage, they grow in their knowledge of who they are in God’s world as we teach from a spiritual perspective.

Families tell us that their children leave Esperance Christian School and comfortably transition into High School, often thriving and achieving academic success.

There are key areas that we concentrate on with children at this age to help them get ready for High School.

We want them to be academically able to cope.

To be:

  • resilient socially and emotionally,

  • autonomous self-motivated learners,

  • respectful and caring for those around them and

  • respectful to teaching staff.
