Year 3
- Year 6
Our priorities for students in Years 3 to 6 encompass preparation for High School – academically, emotionally and socially. During this stage they grow in their knowledge of who they are in God’s world as we teach from a spiritual perspective.
Families tell us that their children leave Esperance Christian School and comfortably transition into High School, often thriving and achieving academic success.
There are 5 key areas that we concentrate on with children at this age to help them get ready for High School.
We want them to be academically able to cope.
To be:
-
resilient socially and emotionally,
-
autonomous self-motivated learners,
-
respectful and caring for those around them and
-
respectful to teaching staff.
“I am always thrilled to hear how well children from a relatively small Primary school in Esperance go on to High School and then lives beyond.”
